| BBBS is part of GenerationLink, a group of local service providers whose focus
is to plan intergenerational programs. Our first endeavor is a Life Biography mentoring project. Youth and adults
are matched to a resident of a local long-term care facility. They interview the resident and collect information
on the residents’ life. The project culminates in a book that will be presented to the residents. The Union County Military Family Support Group was formed to provide support and activities to local military families. BBBS offers adult mentors to the children during the period their parent is deployed. Interested families enroll in the program and are involved in all program activities. |
