Celebrate Living in Central Ohio’s Best Hometown


The public is invited to celebrate Marysville being named Central Ohio’s Best Hometown. The celebration will take place on Friday, February 2, 2007 at Creekview Intermediate from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. The Marysville High School Cheerleaders and Band will perform. Kahn, the Marysville Police Dog and Freddie, the Marysville Fire Department Robot will demonstrate their skills. Students at Creekview Middle School may compete in an essay contest. Students are to write in 500 words or less Why Marysville is the Best Hometown in Central Ohio. Third Place winner will receive a $25 Savings Bond, Second a $50 Savings Bond and First Place a $100 Savings Bond sponsored by Richwood Bank, our hometown bank. The Mayor will receive the distinguished award from Ohio Magazine. One lucky student from Creekview will be selected to read their essay on why Marysville is Central Ohio’s Best Hometown.
