About the United Way of Union County

A caring investment. A lasting gift.
The United Way of Union County has developed an Endowment and Planned Giving Program that can help your accomplish your charitable goals.
Our History
Since 1958, the United Way of Union County has helped improve the lives of our neighbors in need. Our work extends far beyond the needs of this year or even this generation.

We are committed to improving our community for years to come through our Endowment and Planned Giving Program.

Endowment and Planned Gifts
An endowment is an investment fund that keeps the full amount of your gift intact and distributes only the interest and capital gains that your money ears. So your gift keeps on giving -- forever.

A planned gift can be a bequest or a special tax-saving gift that benefits you and United Way, today or in the future.

What better way is there to ensure that your compassion will make a difference today and for future generations?

Changing Needs of the Community
As needs change in the community, United Way of Union County will be able to address those changing needs through its planned giving program.

You may choose from several funds so that your interests are met. By directing your gift to any of the following:
  • General Endowment Fund
  • Special Community Initiatives
  • Investing in our Children
  • Assisting the Elderly, Disable and Homeless
  • Overcoming Family Violence and Community Crime
  • Strengthening Families
  • United Way Administrative Fund

We make a living by what we get.

We make a life by what we give.

-- Winston Churchill
